This week we ponder what walk up music is most likely to break a slump: Nickleback or Dolly Parton? We also might have heard the best nick name in college baseball whom also just happens to swing the biggest bat in NCAA history. For our main subject this week, Brien Taylor. His cards were the holy grail for collectors in the early 90’s. Scouts called him the best prospect they’d ever seen. Scott Boras jumped at the chance to get as much money from the Yankees as he could (and did). But a family fight led to the best that almost was bouncing between surgeries, jobs and prison. In Wax Pack Heroes, we open some 1988 Fleer, looking for riches.

We pull ALOT of commons in Wax Pack Heroes. If you've got those Tom Foley or Ernest Riles cards just sitting around you can donate those commons to charity and maybe spark a child's interest in baseball and collecting. Find out more here: http://commons4kids.org/
