Episode 82 - Joe Bauman, the Biggest Bat You’ve Never Heard Of

Chickens in the outfield, bags of flour dropping on the infield from above and fewer pictures of all of this than of Bigfoot. We’ll get to the bottom of this Dodger Field mystery. Plus chicks dig the long ball. If that’s true, Joe Bauman must have been very popular in the Longhorn League. Joe put together what might be the best season in the history of baseball in 1954. Babe Ruth, Roger Maris, even Mark McGwire could not equal the 138 game totals Joe put up for the Roswell Rockets. We’ll share all the gaudy numbers. Finally, 6-year MLB veteran Wes Chamberlain (Phillies & Red Sox) joins us for a round of Wax Pack Heroes.
